Install: sudo dnf install -y squid.

Configure: sudo tee /etc/squid/squid.conf <<'EOF' … EOF with http_port 3128, acl localnet src 192.168.1.0/24, and http_access allow localnet.

Enable & start: sudo systemctl enable --now squid.

Firewall: sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=squid then sudo firewall-cmd --reload.

Verify: curl -x http://localhost:3128 http://example.com.
