Privacy & Cookie Policy
1. Scope and site operator
This policy applies to www.rcwittraining.in, operated by RCW IT Training in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It explains data handling on the website, including advertising and consent choices. External services linked from this website operate under their own privacy policies.
Privacy contact: info@rcwittraining.in.
2. Training labs and information you provide
No account or registration is required to use the labs. Lab commands, answers, scores, names entered for certificates, and generated certificate/report data are processed locally in the browser unless a page clearly says otherwise. Downloaded files are created on the learner's device.
Some labs use browser storage to preserve progress or preferences. Learners can remove that information using their browser's site-data controls. The catalogue search runs locally and search terms are not submitted to RCW IT Training.
3. Hosting and technical records
The site is delivered through a website hosting provider. As with most hosting services, technical request records may include an IP address, browser or device type, requested URL, date and time, referrer, and security-related events. The hosting provider controls its own operational logs and retention practices.
4. Google AdSense advertising
Selected informational pages use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses or other identifiers, and collect information about ad impressions and interactions to serve, limit, secure, personalize, and measure advertising.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, Google's Privacy Policy, and Google advertising technologies.
RCW IT Training does not send names, email addresses, certificate names, lab answers, or other directly identifying learner-entered information to Google for advertising.
5. Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages embed YouTube videos. Until you choose to load a video, it is displayed as a static placeholder. When you load a video — or accept all cookies in the consent banner — Google (YouTube) may set cookies or similar identifiers to operate the player and, depending on your YouTube settings, personalise your experience. Loaded videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) where available. You can review or delete YouTube data at YouTube privacy settings.
6. Restricted tool access requests
Download pages for restricted tools (for example RCW – AWSNixOps) use a request form that opens your own e-mail application. If you send a request, the name, e-mail address and purpose you type are delivered to info@rcwittraining.in, used only to review and respond to that request, and kept no longer than needed. Access codes are issued individually and can be revoked. The tools themselves run on your computer and connect only to the services you configure; see each tool's download page for details.
7. Consent, cookies, and privacy choices
RCW IT Training uses Google's certified consent management platform for applicable advertising messages. Depending on location, visitors can consent, decline, or manage individual purposes and advertising partners. Consent Mode communicates applicable choices for advertising storage, ad personalization, and ad user data to supported Google services.
Where consent is legally required, it is requested for non-essential storage and personalized advertising. If consent is declined, Google may restrict ad processing or show limited ads where permitted.
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site traffic — such as page views, popular pages, device types and approximate geography — so we can improve the site. Analytics loads through Google Consent Mode: advertising cookies, ad personalization and ad user data are disabled by default and enabled only when you accept all cookies. Google may still process limited technical information, such as truncated (anonymised) IP addresses and page requests, for this measurement. We do not send names, e-mail addresses, lab answers or other learner-entered data to Google Analytics. You can block analytics using a browser script or cookie blocker, although this may affect saved preferences. Learn more from the Google Analytics privacy documentation.
Visitors can also manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Browser controls can delete or block cookies, although doing so may affect saved preferences.
Google may also add a consent-revocation link automatically at the bottom of approved pages where its European regulations message and AdSense code are active.
8. Other regions and opt-out rights
Where regional law provides a right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as those terms are legally defined, the applicable Google privacy message provides available choices. Requests about RCW IT Training's own handling of information can be sent to the privacy contact above.
9. Data sharing, retention, and international processing
Advertising and hosting providers process information for the purposes described in this policy and under their own terms. They may process information in countries other than the visitor's country. Their retention periods depend on the service, account settings, security needs, and legal requirements. RCW IT Training does not sell learner registration data because the site does not operate learner accounts.
10. Children
The site provides general IT training and is not directed to children under 13. Visitors who are not old enough to make privacy choices under their local law should use the site with a parent or guardian.
11. Security, rights, and policy changes
Reasonable technical measures are used to reduce unauthorized access and keep interactive lab data local. No Internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on applicable law, visitors may have rights to ask about, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of their personal information. Contact info@rcwittraining.in with a specific request. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.
A site consent banner lets you accept or decline advertising cookies before they are set; you can change your choice at any time using the small settings button at the bottom-right of the page.
This policy may be updated when services or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
